The IEEE Symposium on Visual Languages and Human-Centric Computing (VL/HCC) was established in 1984 and is held annually in venues around the world. The mission of the conference is to support the design, theory, application, and evaluation of computing technologies and languages for programming, modeling, and communicating, which are easier to learn, use, and understand by people. VL/HCC is actually the premier international forum for research on these topics.
The beautiful, full of history and cosmopolitan city of Lisbon will host VL/HCC in October 2018. Following the long tradition of this event, it will count with around 100 worldwide experts in human-centered computing, visual programming languages and other strongly connected research areas.
